He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill and Myrtle; his siblings, Marie Trimm and Harold; his father-in-law Walter Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Smith and Noel Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Ida; his daughters, Kelly Reid (Scott) and Lori Noseworthy (Scott); his grandchildren, Dustin (Kendra), Emma and Chelsea; his siblings, Woodrow (Dianne), Wince and Ella Griffin; his mother-in-law Susie Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Smith (Cathy), Dennis Smith (Mary), John Smith (Sandra), Baden Trimm, Lucy Piercey (Walt), Elsie Smith (Craig) and Dianne Thorne (Kevin).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Noel's Funeral Home (106 Water St, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A9). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Victoria United Church.
