“He had an old timey charm that made it impossible to not be inspired by him. Bruce had amazing stories about his life, one being that he was a tax collector and had been shot at. Bruce deserved so much more than what he got in life, and i hope that he had people in his life that cared about him as much as i did. My last memories of him was that he wanted to get a dog in vernon and that he told me to follow my heart. He genuinely cared about my well being and i will never forget that.”

“I had the pleasure of working with bruce in 2016 in prince george before he moved to vernon. He was an amazing, fun, spirited person to work with despite being in his 70s, and an even better friend. I'm sad to find out almost a year later of his passing, and even sadder that his obituary didn't do justice to the legacy of a man bruce was. Bruce was kind hearted and always willing to help. He greeted people with "boss" "champ" "sir" or "miss" giving you a confidence you didn't know you needed.”
