It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Anita Mackay (Vernon, British Columbia), who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Ruby Anita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruby Anita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her son Gordon Mackay; and her husband Don Mackay. She is survived by: her daughter Judith Kimmerly (Jim); her grandchildren, Alex (Lisa), Nicholas Troll (Saadiqha) and Noelle Troll (Andrew); her brothers, Ralph and George Anderson; and also Theodore Troll.
