He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Beatrice; his wife Grace Macindoe; his brothers, Austin and Richard; and his son-in-law David Madison.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sarah, Marissa, Andrew, Scott, Kathryn, Rebecca, Nadine and Elizabeth. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
