She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Brown. She is survived by: her siblings, Peg, Joyce, John, Andy, Allan, Mike, Joe and Dale; her children, Erin (Peter), Allison (Guy), Kendrick (Terri) and Daniel (Angela); her grandchildren, Kyle, Emily, Peter, Arthur, Nathan, Megan, Talysa, Talon and Marlon; and her great grandchildren, Devin and Jace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Jan can be made to VJH Foundation or the BC Children's Hospital Foundation as they were charities important to her.
