He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bonnie Koning; his children, Michael Koning (April), Roxanna Rauch (Gordon), Bradley Koning (Sue) and Aaron Koning (Joy); his grandchildren, Michael, Gordon, Hailee, Goel, Keegan, Brayden, Liam, Kassandra and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Madison, Bentley and Raelynn; his sisters, Tena Sturwold, Betty Lieuwen (Peter) and Reit Vriend; and his parents, Jan Koning and Jacoba Koning.
