He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Cover (Ferd) and Verna; his stepfather Engel Ganzeveld; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Donald Cover, Debbie Cover (Dominique), Laurie Rawlek (Ritchie) and Heather Dutcher (David); his grandchildren, Tracy (Vince), Amber (Eric), Jeremy (Lauren), Melanie (Kevin), Kyle, Brenten (Shelby), Perry, Ryan (Karinna) and Sidney (Mittchell); his great grandchildren, Émil, Anna, Isaäc, Everest, Rauri, Maeva, Raegan, Jameson, Macy and Nash; and his brother Darwin Cover (Fuji). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
