He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Watterson and Brittie Watterson; his wife Anne Parks Watterson; his sisters, Alisande, Meredith, Ame and Julia; and his stepson John. He was also cherished by many Nephews, Nieces Great-Nephews, Great-Nieces.

The family requests that donations in Daniel's name be made to the Vernon SPCA in lieu of flowers.
