He was predeceased by: his mother Magdalane Jaeger. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his father Robert Jaeger; his son Simon Jaeger (Jill); his stepchildren, Colton and Dayna Hanley; his granddaughter Ivy; his brother Wilfred (Judy); his nephew Nick Jaeger; and his niece Emma Jaeger.
