Ruth Helen Birky Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2023, at the age of 97, Ruth Helen Birky of Vanderhoof, British Columbia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Helen Birky to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Conrad and Ida Ellen Gerig (Boshart); her husband Dale; her siblings, Irvin, Clarence, Norman, Evelyn and Hazel (Eby); and her granddaughter Janette.

She is survived by: her siblings, Laura Rhodes of Longview, Washington and Dean Gerig (Nadine) of Lebanon; and her children, Nathan (Jo Ann) of Lebanon, Marlon (Norma) of Coaldale, Alberta, Lila Glenister (Amaranth), Lorraine Baker, Glen (Helen) and Lynda Wainwright of Brooks, Alberta. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
