With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph James Visscher of Vancouver, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Wilma VanDam and Rita Sieders; his brothers-in-law, George Bysterveld and Marten VanderZwan; and his parents, William Visscher and Martha Visscher.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Visscher; his children, Richard, Gert Visscher, Michael Visscher, Michelle, James Vandeburgt and Jeanette; his grandchildren, Codie, Jason, Noah, Taylor, Micheline, Ryan, Elijah, Cameron, Ashley, Andréa, Sara, Abigail, Zoë, Kaiya and Arwyn; his siblings, Jack (Willy Visscher), Diane (Leo Kampen), Jake Sieders, Jerry (Teny Visscher), Charlie (Lydia VanDam) and JoAnne (Peter Ostermeier); and his in-laws, Dianne, Gerry Piesche, John, Audrey Fennema, Clara, Tony Hoeksema, Jane, Melvin Hoeksema, Henny Bysterveld, Elizabeth and Harold Jansen.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Langley Canadian Reformed Church (21804 52 Ave, Langley, BC V2Y1L3).
