He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan and Eugenie. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Sharlene and Stephen (Robyn); his grandchildren, Megan, Nicholas and Ryan; and his siblings, Jill (Howard) and Phillip (Jane). He is also survived by brothers and sister-in-law and many nephews and nieces.
