With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Matilde Lim (Vancouver, British Columbia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Matilde left this world on October 27, 2024 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucia Salvador and Maximino Salvador; and her son Alexander Matthew "BJ" Lim. She is survived by: her husband Arcie; her children, Anthony Mark "AJ" (Mina) and Arcie Jose Jr. "CJ" (Esabelle); her siblings, Elsa, Remy (Rudy), Luz (Noel), Beth (Carlos), Maximina and Deogracias; and her grandchildren, Alla and Aqqa. She is also survived by uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews and nieces, and several grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Parish (1612 E 18th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5N2H6). A committal service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4). A reception was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
