He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife LaVerne; his parents, Wenslav Tischer and Ella Tischer; and his children, Gordon (Andrea), Kent and Carolyn (Robert McCann). He was also cherished by five grandchildren, four siblings, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
