He is survived by: his wife Coby; and his children, Alida Gilks, Jim Gilks of Cobble Hill, B. C, Willem Offerein, Sandy Offerein, Ken Waite and Jacob Offerein. He is also survived by grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
