He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ole Kjemhus and Bernice Kjemhus; his significant other Judy Keeping; his sons, Tyler James, Kyle (Britney) and Cody; his grandchildren, Reese, Rhett and Amora; his siblings, Glenn (Eldine), Les (Lorraine), Laureen Dane and Robert (Brenda); and his mother-in-law Joan Keeping (Grandma Dynamite). He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousin's, nieces, nephews and countless close family friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alan'a name to the Peace Palliative Care Society.
