He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Christie and Thomas Christie; his siblings, Louise Bowes and Thomas "Tim" Christie; and his son Tom Christie.
He is survived by: his spouse Belva Christie; his children, Arlene Christie, Deb Guyovich and Lake Cowichan; his nieces and nephews, Katherine, Linda, Janice, Wayne, Alex, Gaeten, Gudy Pellettier, Jenny Anderson and Jacque Robinson; and also, Lorraine Grandy, Cathy Noel, Marina Connah, Steven Connah, Ian Noel, Christine, Ryan, Katie Connah, Emily, Dolena Noel, Richard, Cheryl, Robert Terris, Danica, Bobby, Tracy Little, Roger, Sabrina, Megan, Laura, Antonia and Jordan.
