He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy (Kovacs); his parents, Albert and Ada; his brother Dick (late Jerri); and his sister-in-law Sherry (late Mel).

He is survived by: his children, Lee (Doug) of North Delta, BC, Debbie of Brooks, AB, Kim (Alain) of Casselman, ON and Todd (Karen) of Halifax, NS.; his grandchildren, Matthew (Kayla), Derek (Shelby), Erin (Ryan), Kelsey (Cooper), Justin, Patrick and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Mara, Liam, Bennett and Penny; his brothers, Gerald (Gwen), Nelson (late Darlene) and Doug (Rhondda); and his brother-in-law David (Priscilla). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
