He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph Parnell McIvor and Margaret Deighan; and his siblings, Desmond (Marlene), Edith Reyno and Clifford McIver.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Catherine (Wagler); his daughters, Jennifer McIvor (Scott Allen) and Marisa McIvor; his grandchildren, Takara Allen and Madeline McIvor; his stepsons, Andrew Samuel Liau (Dolly Kwan) and Joseph D. Liau; his stepgrandsons, Joshua Samuel Liau and Samuel Andrew Liau; his brother Alan (Shirley); and his brother-in-law John Reyno. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins.
