Jeffrey Donald Lessard Obituary

Lessard - beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend passed away suddenly, in the comfort of his own home, on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at the age of 35. Jeff was born March 21, 1988 in Burnaby to Nicole Lessard and Don Furuya. Jeff attended David Thompson High school. He later went back to school to work on his GED. Over the last few years Jeff was employed in the roofing industry. He enjoyed the challenges of the job and took pride in the completed work. As a child, Jeff grew up in a household with two older brothers Michel, and Mario. They loved to spend time with him - taking him out to the park, the arcade, and other fun places. Jeff had many close friends growing up but by far his closest friend was and is Jeff Florko. The two of them did everything together and were rarely seen apart. As he grew in to adulthood, Jeff got married and had two beautiful girls Elena, and Vienna. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his girls. He loved to take them to the zoo, aquarium, the park, and the beach. He loved to watch his girls play soccer, help them with school work and play games with them. In Jeff's free time he enjoyed playing poker, watching sports, listen to music, hanging out and partying with friends.

Jeff is survived by his daughters Elena Lessard and Vienna Lessard, his mother Nicole Bird; step father Richard Bird; brother Mario Lessard; sister-in-law Janice Neisz; his nieces Maria Lessard, Angelina Lessard and Natalia Lessard; his step-brother, John Bird and numerous friends and family. Jeff was predeceased by his father Donald Furuya and brother Michel Lessard.

A Memorial Service will be held at Avalon Funeral Home, Friday September 1, 2023 at 2pm. 13288 108th Ave, Surrey, BC. V3T 2J6.
