He is survived by: his spouse Silvana; his children, Fiorella (Allan), Giorgio, Alberto (Cheryl) and Claudio (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Christopher (Marie), Rhianna (Travis), Aidan, Matthew and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Bennett; and his sisters, Angelina and Mariuzza (Fiorindo). He is also survived by his loving family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, Florio's family kindly requests that support be given to the Irene Thomas Hospice, who provided exceptional care during his final days.
