It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Payne of Surrey, British Columbia, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edna may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edna touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cornelius Groening and Aganetha Groening; her children, Linda, Bonnie and David; her grandchildren, Heidi, Andrew, Brandon, Leah, Emily, Ryan and Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Gavin and Alyssa.
