He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Wertz and Mabel Wertz; and his brothers, Duane and Bob Wertz. He is survived by: his sons, Darren (Kyli) and Colin Wertz (Kierstin); his grandson Brayden; and his siblings, Glen Wertz and Sandi Ellis (Gary).
