Fern Doreen Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Doreen Smith (Summerland, British Columbia), born in Galahad, Alberta, who passed away on November 23, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Smith; her son Cameron Smith; and her sister Melva Turigan. She is survived by: her parents, Sophia Turigan and Andrew Turigan; her children, Marjorie Gammond (Don) of Fort Fraser, BC, Jenny Harker (Terry), Mexico, Anna Smith (Keith) of Penticton, BC, Will (Juanita), Caroline Cottrill (Tim) of Keremeos, BC and Kathaleen Gibbs (Richard) of Cawston, BC; and her brothers, Donald Turigan (Claire) of Westbank, BC and Elmer Turigan of Stettler, AB. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and a few on the way, as well as numerous step grandchildren and foster grandchildren.
