She was predeceased by: her former husband Charles Minter; her son Michael Minter; her parents, Ludwig Schwartz and Clara Schwartz; and her siblings, Elsie, Joan, Laurie, Alfred and Ronald.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Nelson; her daughters, Donna Newstead (Marty) of Summerland, BC and Kathy Seiter (Gordon) of Summerland, BC; her stepchildren, Louise, Margie, Patty and Andy; and her grandchildren, Tyler, Kayleigh Newstead, Christopher, Nicholas, Colin Minter and Kaeden Seiter. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
