It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Geres (Summerland, British Columbia), who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Jacob Geres; her husband Heinz Wartenberg; her son Lenard; her brother Klaus Mayer; and her brother-in-law Howard Pohl.
She is survived by: her daughter Bernice Courtorielle (Ralph) of Fort Saskatchewan; her daughter-in-law Theone Geres (California) of Simi Valley; her sister Lore Pohl of Wetaskiwin, AB; and her sister-in-law Shelia Mayer of Grenfel, SK.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial tributes may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
