In the sacred silence of farewell, Anita is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Anita's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eric Ek; and her siblings, Nelson and Mildred. She is survived by: her sons, Ron (DeeDee) of Cranbrook, Calvin (Dea) of Kaleden, Randy (Anita) of Summerland and Brian (Kathy) of Penticton; and her brother Norm Fenton (Lone) of Castlegar. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Penticton Church of the Nazarene (523 Jermyn Ave, Penticton, BC V2A2E2). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Randy's Residence.
