He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hamm and Elizabeth Hamm; his sons, Frederick 'Fred William Hamm and Wilfred 'Bill Mailhoit; and his siblings, Henry 'Hank Hamm, Jake Hamm, Cornelius 'Corny Hamm and Freda Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Beverley 'Bev'; his children, Jean (Karen) of Lethbridge, Carol of Kamloops, John (Vera) of Kamloops, Richard (Vivian) of Campbell River, Gwen (Gary) of Thunder Bay and Dannielle (Matthew) of Kamloops; and his siblings, Hilda Froese, Ann Epp of Abbotsford and Peter Hamm (Kathy) of Langley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
