Wayne Flann Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Flann (Squamish, British Columbia), born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 20, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Alyna Hope Herscovici-Flann; and his father George Flann. He is survived by: his children, Evan, Rhiannon, Cody and Shira; his mother Eleanor Flann; his sisters, Brenda Monk (John) and Cindy Flann; his close friend Julianne Budd; his in-laws, Lawrence, Beverley Herscovici and Evan; and also Brenda Davison.

He was deliberate and resourceful, with exceptional situation awareness.

“So much love for Wayne - he was a legend in so many ways and a mentor to many. Not many human beings can claim that. I'm so lucky to have been able to work with him every so often - and share some mountain turns here and there as well. I'll miss him, and I know he'll be missed by so many. My thoughts and positive energy go out to all of his family. Rest in peace Wango.”
