She was predeceased by: her adoptive father Alex Sr. (Christina Munro); her husband Robert DesJardins; her parents, Christina and Alex Munro Sr.; and her siblings, George, Alex Jr. and Mary Goad.
She is survived by her children, Janice, Robin and David; and her grandchildren, Rachel, Daniel Scott (Janice), Jacob, Sydney DesJardins (Robin) and Barclay DesJardins (David).
Julie's extended family, over the years, donated large collections of rare photos of early Squamish, Garibaldi Park, and the Britannia Mines to the Squamish Public Library.
