He is survived by: his wife Karin Shantz (Weiler); his mother Anne of Kitchener; his sisters, Sue Havitz (Mark) of Kitchener, Janice Shantz and Tricia Shantz (Rusty Miller) of Australia; and his nieces, Courtney Miller (San Francisco), Taylor Miller (Australia) and Niki DeVeto (Sarnia).
