He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Aro (Genevieve Robinson), Martin Waechter and Shane Waechter; his grandchildren, Graham Aro (Dan Dan), Veronica Rose Waechter and Linnea Waechter; his great grandchild Schala Tao Aro; his siblings, Alvin Waechter (Terry), Roland Waechter (Molly), Dennis Waechter (Pam), Celine Zender (John), Marie Rickwood and Fenton (Val); his sister-in-law Margaret Waechter; and his friends, Toady (Pug) and Oscar (German Shepherd). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
