It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Chernowas of Smithers, British Columbia, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Chernowas. She is survived by: her children, Helen Tahara, Elizabeth Grant (Terry), Florence Wojak (Len Sider) and Earl Chernowas (Audrey). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild and many other family and friends.

Due to COVID restrictions a Celebration of Life may be held on a later date.
