It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valarie (Burgess) Holmes of Sicamous, British Columbia, born in Victoria, British Columbia, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril and Phyllis; her brother Stephen; her husband Patrick; and her daughter Carly.

She is survived by: her children, Chelsea (Matt), Katy and Benjamin (Kelly); her granddaughters, Emery and Eliza; and her siblings, Jim (Eileen), Dan (Sharon) and Shelley.
