He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Jones and Arthur Reginald Jones; his former wife Tina; and his siblings, Carol Leather, Arthur and Walter Jones.

He is survived by: his former wife Valentina Bush; his uncle Rev. Gordon Jones; his wife Beth Crompton; his daughter Melanie; his son-in-law Frank Salter; his children, Jennifer Jones and David; his daughter-in-law Andrea; his stepchildren, Tom, Richard, Rob and Jane Crompton; his grandchildren, Elliot, Andrew, Holden and Avery; his stepgrandchildren, Cory, RJ and Joe; his nieces, Debbie McInnes, Marlene Jones and Dr. Patricia Leather; and his nephew Mark Leather.
