She was predeceased by: her husband Doroteo Manuel; and her granddaughter Marie Fe Manuel Tingley. She is survived by: her children, Nestor Julian (Lydia) of Surrey, BC, Jocelyn Cordel (June) of Surrey, BC, Susan Tingley (Paul) of Gibsons, BC, Gerardo Manuel (Lory) of Gibsons, BC and Willie Manuel (Edna). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She struggled with Parkinson's in later years, but always maintained a sense of humour, compassion, and dignity combined with an extraordinarily good memory and sharp mind.
