She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Danyluk and Harold Torfason; her siblings, Victor, Helen Schneider and Ivy Joye; and her brothers-in-law, Albert Joye and Bill Budzinski.
She is survived by: her sons, Jason (Karen) and Joel (Michelle); her husband Terry; her grandchildren, Brooke, Cameron (Lori), Gayle (Tristan), Blake and Hailey; her siblings, Iris Budzinski, Rosalind Sargent (Peter), Violet Anderson (Gary), Ivan Torfason (Lorraine) and Harold Torfason; and her brother-in-law Garnet Schneider. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family asked that in lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the BC Cancer Foundation.
