Anna Banana Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Banana in Sechelt, British Columbia, born in Victoria, British Columbia, who passed away on November 29, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna Banana to pay them a last tribute.
As Anna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Anna. Though Anna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her daughter Dana (Bruce); and her grandsons, Miles and Riley.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre (5714 Medusa St, Sechelt, BC V0N3A0).
Archivists at UBC were delighted to receive Anna's donation of her extensive collection which included documents that she had collected for the as yet unpublished Encyclopedia Bananica.
