He was predeceased by: his father John Tjaden. He is survived by: his mother Anna Tjaden; his siblings, Jim, Ken, Helen Stewart, Mona Bilton and Bill; his wife Marguerite Tjaden; his daughter Janice (George); his granddaughters, Krista and Sarah; his son Ted Tjaden (Reiko); his granddaughter Hannah; and also Joshua. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
