He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Katherine Smith; his wife Mavis; and his siblings, Craig and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Terry (Mary), Kathy (Gordon), Richard (Margaret) and David (Ellen). He is also survived by 17 Grand children and 38 Great Grand Children.
