He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McCaig and Lillian McCaig; and his siblings, Ruby Brooks, Donald McCaig and Gordon McCaig.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his son David; and his siblings, Gladys Berglund, Ron McCaig (Hazel), Gerald McCaig (Laverne) and Sharon Sommerfeld (Herb). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
