She was predeceased by: her grandmother Greta Sylvia Fotsch; and her parents, Fred Pierce and Geertje Pierce. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Jean; and her friends, Del and Coleen Purnell.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (1400 20 St NE, Salmon Arm, BC V1E2V4).
