Dale Franklin Robinson Obituary
It is heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dale Franklin Robinson on February 19, 2022 at the age of 82 with both of his children by his side. Dale was born in Peace River, Alberta on January 19, 1940.
In the early years, Dale enjoyed playing guitar, singing around campfires, curling, and golf. He loved boating with family and friends in the summer, snowmobiling trips in the winter, and never passed up a good business opportunity. Reunions and gatherings with Dale’s large family were some of his favourite times.
Later during his time in Chase, he continued to curl and play his guitar. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed commuting around Chase in his golfcart. Summer was his favorite season, he always looked forward to the company that visited and adventures that took place. He was always the first one up, helping everyone prepare for their boating or fishing day. When you arrived home, he was always at the dock to greet you with a smile and hear about your day. Grandpa loved to entertain all the children with shadow dancing, singing, campfire stories and making pancakes for all to enjoy in the morning.
Dale was very social, loved being around people, and was known for always laughing and making jokes. He had a smile that lit up a room and made your day. He was very generous, caring and kind, never missing an opportunity to assist others in need. Nothing made Dale happier then spending time with his grandchildren and he especially loved meeting his first great granddaughter. They all were his pride and joy.
He lived life to the fullest, even trying to waterski at the age of 80. He was adamant to get up and drop a ski, but when the event proved to be unsuccessful, he claimed the boat did not have enough power. There is not a time anyone can remember that Dale was not the life of the party.
Dale is predeceased by his parents George Robinson and Alice Kyle, his foster parents Herman and Annie Hebner, sister Dorothy and brothers Ray, Earl, Rance, and Bill.
He is survived by his children, Alex and Dalin, his grandchildren Tayler, Courtney, Alycia, and Abigail and his great granddaughter Emma.
Left behind to mourn are his twin brother Dennis (Anne), sister Joyce and brother Randy (Patsy).
