It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shizuye Rita Fraser of Saanichton, British Columbia, born in New Denver, British Columbia, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mickey Murakami and Betty Murakami; her husband Bud Fraser; her daughters, Erin (Derren) and Lauren (Dante); her grandsons, Tyrus and Maddux; and her siblings, Judy, June (Allen) and Ken (Kim).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the ALS Society of BC.
