He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude "Bud" Sylvester and Dorothy Sylvester; his children, Warren and Christine; his stepson Jason; and his brother-in-law Brian Edwards of Ontario.

He is survived by: his significant other Diane (Hallam); his daughter Leanne Dellabough (Dorion); his grandsons, Lucas (Jennifer) of Saanichton, BC and Isaac Dellabough (Jahniaa) of Saanichton, BC; his stepson Trevor; his brothers, Robert (Darlene) and Murray (Rob); his sisters-in-law, Karen Eldridge (Rob) and Heather Edwards; and his great grandchildren, June, Aubrey, Levi and Ziah. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
