It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys McGeough (Saanichton, British Columbia), born in Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on July 15, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Maureen, Mike, Chris, Gerry, Kevin and Rosemary; her children-in-law, Warren, Colin, Leslie, Luce, Amanda and Pat; her parents, Charlotte Eleanor'Nellie'Dean (Shenton) and Herbert Percy Dean; her siblings, John, Bert, Ted, Jim and Barbara; and her significant other Gerald McGeough. She was also cherished by her thirteen grandchildren and their partners.

In lieu of flowers, and in the spirit of Marion's incredible kindness, the family requests donations be made to charities where two of her grandchildren work; the Intercultural Association of Greater Victoria (https://www.icavictoria.org), or Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA).
