She was predeceased by: her father Isaac Schmidt; and her sister Sylvia Schmidt. She is survived by: her mother Agnes Schmidt (Goertzen); her siblings, Diana Dyck, Lawrence Schmidt, Cheryl Jantzen and David Schmidt; her husband Peter Fairbanks O'Byrne; her sons, Stefan Arthur O'Byrne, Ian Matthew O'Byrne and Janessa Ruth O'Byrne (Lepp); her grandsons, William Richard O'Byrne and Edwin Peter O'Byrne; her great grandchild Shannon Elaine McDougall (O'Byrne); and her grandchildren, Matthew Marcel McDougall, Kinley Helena McDougall and Carlyn Eva-Marie McDougall.
