He was predeceased by: his parents, Maki and Tomizo; and his brother Shoichi. He is survived by: his spouse Noriko; his children, Mika (Nick) and Minoru (Satomi); his grandchildren, Ruby-Mei, Maxwell, Emi and Miya; and his brother Eizo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
