He was predeceased by: his parents, Masaharu and Tsurue; and his brother Masatsugu. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Reiko (Phil), Yumi and Nick (Kathy); his granddaughter Makayla; and his siblings, Mifune and Tomoye.
