With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sonoko Takasaki (Richmond, British Columbia), who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Yukihiro; and her siblings, Tosh, Hideko, Akiko, Keiko, Jiro, May, Sam, Bob, Shirley and Masato.
She is survived by: her children, Alan (Debbie), Sharon (Bob), Don, Liz, Leanne (Craig) and Glen. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and her dear nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or koden, donations can be made in her memory to the Steveston Buddhist Temple, or the charity of your choice.
